The art club has now returned to

The Stables Studio, Broomberry Drive, Gourock PA19 1QB from April 2018.

The club was set up to encourage and support the arts within the local area. To bring artists together and  provide a studio where everyone could meet to encourage one another through their common love of painting.

Established in 1877 Greenock Art Club has boasted many a fine artist over the years including James Watt and the late Alec Galt.


The club offers a very spacious studio space with kitchen and toilet facilities. Tables and easels are provided for artists to work at.

The club offers a varied programme of activities over the course of the year which include critique nights, demonstrations & workshops from leading prominent artists.

The club also has a lively social calendar throughout the year with various outings and events arranged within the club premises.
