The club will be open to members of the public on Saturday 11 and Sunday 12 September between 12 noon and 5pm both days. There will be a selection of Artists work on display featuring painting and crafts. There will also be at least 2 artists working on their latest work during these times. Everyone is welcome to come along and have a chat with our artists.

Subject to Government confirmation on 20 April 2021, the club will once again re-open on the above date. There will still be limited numbers in the club at one time (no more than 8) and the wearing of face masks is compulsory indoors. It is important that everyone cleans their work station before leaving and that your personal rubbish is taken away after each visit. Last year we did not collect any membership fees because the club was only open for a few months on a restricted basis. This year, the membership fees will be halved to £25 as we are still under restrictions. Fees can be paid by cheque (Payable to ‘Greenock Art Club’) or Cash which can be left with one of the trustees on your next visit.

We are all looking forward to getting back to some sort of normality.

The club is open in the evenings; numbers limited to 8…so be quick! Jim will let folk know when the club is open on the WhatsApp. The Monday/Thursday classes are running as normal for now. We hope everyone is keeping safe and well.

Evening classes are continuing, restricted to 6 persons until we hear any different. Mondays and Thursdays are postponed. A representative of our MSP, Stuart McMillan has been contacted and we will act on his advice when he gets back to us. I’ll keep suggesting topics for the classes….just to keep you on your toes!!😄 Gillian

The trustees are pleased to announce that Greenock Art Club will reopen on Monday, the 31st August, unless guidelines change in the interim. Face coverings will need to be worn and tables are spaced to allow distancing. Each person is asked to sanitise their hands on entry and clean their table after use. The lavatory should also be sprayed and cleaned after use. Please bring your own materials and take them away with you. The urn will be switched on and bringing your own mug is advised. Classes formerly on Mondays will be split between Mondays and Thursdays. Evening numbers will be limited so get there early!
